The U.S. ambassador to Canada says the tourism industry won't suffer under the new U.S. law requiring travellers on both sides of the border to carry passports.
David Wilkins warns that trying to delay the law could hurt travellers & tourism operators.
Wilkins who addressed Nova Scotia's tourism industry association, urged Canadaians and Americans to get passports before the law comes into effect in seven weeks.
Canadaians flying to the U.S, & Americans wanting to return homw, will require passports as of Jan. 23.07.
