    Default Driver Medicals

Just can't fathom the Ontario government reasoning.

My medical was due in November 11, 2018 for my A licence, (class 1) so I called Driver Check and had it done.($120) My driver licence came due March 28, 2019. I had to write the tests ($100) and got accused of cheating (on a computer) because "no one gets them all correct" The lady got all upset when I explained to her I teach the stuff and learned long ago the ministry way is not always the one that makes the most sense, and I answered the questions accordingly

In May this year, I had a complete physical.

Now this is where it get's asinine.

A week after I had a complete physical and 6 months after I submitted an MTO physical, I get a letter from the government telling me I have to go for another MTO physical because I turned 65 in March.

Went back to Driver Check, same doctor, we both shook our heads and i walked out 15 minutes later and another $120 lighter.

Rules is rules, Buzzy. It's all about the money.
Crime wouldn't pay if the government ran it.

Sounds like a similarly silly system as that in the US. Here, medical is required for licence renewal, therefore, they renew on the same day. Seems simple enough.
    There's a nap for that.

And we're all grateful for that.

There is probably nothing whiny-er or b**chy-er than a pregnant truck driver!
