    Default export radios

i was just wondering if many drivers are using export radios are they as popular in canada as the usa are many peopke talking much on ssb or am also is there problems as of liscensing ive heard on another trucking forum that the fcc in the usa are confiscating drivers export radios for talking on the ham bands it seemsthere is a big debate going on about heavy handed tactics of some fcc officers at border crossings and weigh stations just wondering if any canadian drivers have encountered any problems while crossing the border also do some of the bigger long haul companies in canada permit drivers to install export and hf radios

I have a Galaxy 99 v sideband which is classed in the US you have to have a HAM operators lic. it has a 10 band range in it. In Canada we don't need a lic. for it.

I just purchased a Magnum S-3 10 meter radio. Gonna give it a whirl. Anybody else running a 10 meter?

The oilpatch is loaded with VHF radioes. It's the only way you can run with logging trucks.
I thought I had made a mistake until I realised that it was just an error.
