Unfortunately this exploitation of new drivers seems to be the norm the way I see it if you can stay with a clean license and no accidents for 6 months to a year you should be able to go anywhere you want. Have you looked at Highland or CAT even Robert? I think they may be of higher standards from what I've noticed. Toronto Montreal corridor would not be as bad as being stuck with a under qualified trainer headed to Vancouver. Just a thought.

No way anyone would do 90 days for $400. There must be more to the story.Posted via Mobile Device

The reason I drive faster when the passing lanes open up is because the road is wider and I'm not so scared so I find I can make better time here, LOL.

I had one of these clowns drive right into oncoming traffic just before Dryden when he went around a grader. I had to drive way over on the shoulder to keep him from causing a head on collision. Typical young arrogant you know what behind the wheel, he had that ridiculous stern look on his face looking in his mirror to make sure his trailer cleared the grader as he forced the oncoming traffic off the road.

I worked there a couple years ago... and they didnt hire new drivers. The orintation for expeirenced was 10 days I think. Then you got a brand new automatic truck.

This is a six year old thread. Things most likely have changed since then especially with the skyrocketing insurance rates.

Standards are still very low at Transx, but I would say Fedex contractors are the worse. They even making LightSpeed look like pros. NATT should have pink disco lights on tractors so we know who's in trying to hog the whole friggin road.
